Y 3 & 4 structures

Y 3 & 4 developed new skills in creating, planning and building structures.
What does a building need to be a successful building?
What forces may try to cause imbalance?

All our constructions were exhibited at the school's library.

Paddington Bear

What transport did Paddington Bear use to travel to London?
Did he need a passport?

Passports and tickets Y1 & 2

Passports and aeroplane tickets were shared and discussed.
Why do we need a passport?
How is a passport connected and linked to transport?

Y3 & 4 artwork

In Term 2 the Year 3&4 children learned a variety of skills to become an artist themselves!
We focused on the elements of art in a composition: line, shape, colour, foreground and background
We also looked at some famous artists' work and tried to interprete what the artist wanted to communicate.

What do you think our Year 3&4 artists want to communicate in their artwork?
